Many times a company wants a certain type of content to be accessible only for certain users. They create a price list for wholesale partners and sales representatives with preferential price reductions and delivery terms, which can only be viewed by logged-in users of the website.
The Menu Items and the Website Content can be viewed after entering the name and the password. This is built into the Webity E-Shop package. You may create various page types, which are going to be displayed only to logged-in users: text editors, photo galleries, forms, product catalogs, etc.
How to create a page visible only to logged-in users:
1. Create a "New Page" and fill in all fields.
2. Click on "Advanced Properties" and in the "Visibility" field change the default value "Visible" to "Visible only to logged-in users".
3. Afterwards the "Visible for" field appears - select the user groups, for which you would like to make the menu item visible.
4. Click "Save"
An icon will appear next to this menu item in the menu tree
If the visible page already exists and you want to change its setup, click on "Page Properties" (it is at the top, on the right). Change "Visibility" in the displayed menu and save the changes.
As a result, an icon will appear in the tree menu on the left
